    1. Intentional contact is allowed only in the main events.
    2. Intentional contact is limited to the right front and left rear corners of the car.
    3. Intentional contact is to be limited to the corners.
    4. Every attempt should be made to spin cars towards the infeild and never towards the wall.
    1. Any North American made sedans and station wagons (full frame only, NO UNI-BODIES) 1950 or newer. No two seat sports cars, convertibles, Jeeps, front, four, or all-wheel drive vehicles are allowed.
    2. Fuel injection cars are allowed upon Tech approval.
    1. All cars must weigh a minimum of 3100 lbs.
    2. Added car weight must be painted white, or highly visible silver, with car numbers included in block form (no Pellets), and must be securely fastened in place.
    3. All Added weight to meet minimums must be securely mounted in the center of the car as to not affect left side weight.
    1. Original dimensions of all car bodies must remain as manufactured except changes which may be necessary for tire clearance. Fenders may not be altered other than for tire clearance.
    2. All flammable materials must be removed from the car with the exception of driver and passenger seats, interior door padding, and Dash Padding.
    3. High back seats or head rests are mandatory.
    4. No gutting of the cars.
      1. No part of the car may be cut out or removed except for cage clearance and for safety reasons.
      2. All glass and chrome must be removed. Windshields are allowed as per the safety rules.
    5. Safety belts must be bolted to the cage as per manufacturer’s recommendations.
    6. All doors must be welded or bolted shut.
    7. Radiator supports are allowed.
      1. Material will be no larger than 2″ schedule 40 or equivalent.
      2. Radiator protection will not exceed the width of the frame.
      3. Radiators may not be relocated, and radiator protection may not be more than 2″ (two inches) away from the front of the radiator.
      4. Radiator protection must mount to the car frame only, and may extend no further back than the front of the upper a-arms.
    8. A window net must be installed according to safety rules.
    9. Dashboard must be installed so as to not to block driver’s vision.
    10. A master battery disconnect switch mandatory. The switch should be mounted so as to be accessible from inside and outside the car, being accessible from both sides.
    11. All cars must run a bumper strapped to the frame or fenders to prevent hooking. Bumpers may not be otherwise reinforced.
    1. Stock engines only, no high performance or custom built engines.
    2. Engine block must be factory a production block with standard external measurements. Aluminum or bow-tie blocks are not allowed.
    3. Cylinders may be bored up to 0.060 over stock.
    5. Rods, crank, and heads are to be OEM to engine used.
    6. Engines must be ford to ford, GM to Gm, Mopar to Mopar, no transplants, no conversions.
  6. HEADS
    1. Heads are to remain stock production cast iron, and are limited to 2 valves per cylinder. Titanium valves are not permitted. Port matching or flow work is not permitted. Heads may be milled for clean up only.
    2. Three angle valve jobs permitted. Stone or grinding marks are not permitted above the bottom of the valve guides. Surface where the cutter or stone has touched must not be polished. hand grinding or polishing is not permitted on any part of the head.
    3. Bow-tie, GM angle plug, Z-head, W-2, Cleveland V-4, double hump, Vortec, aluminum, or aftermarket heads are not allowed. Any external modifications, internal porting, polishing, or relieving is not allowed. Screw in studs are allowed, factory or aftermarket.
    1. Crankshaft must be stock to engine used. Must be standard steel or cast production design OEM.
    2. Crankshaft cannot be knife edged, undercut or drilled to lighten crankshaft.
    3. Balancing Rotating Assembly is not allowed.
    4. Crank may be turned for cleanup.
    5. No aftermarket rods.
    1. All pistons must be stock to engine used. Pistons may be dished or flat top. High performance, high compression, or ultra-light pistons are not allowed.
    1. Only stock camshafts are allowed.
    2. Maximum lift of .430, hydraulic camshaft only.
    1. Stock 2bbl or 4bbl carbs only.
    2. No adapter plates.
    1. Stock Type ignition systems only. (note: this rule has been translated to mean: Only battery-powered, camshaft driven, distributor type ignitions allowed.
    2. Magnetos, crank trigger, or dual point systems are not allowed.
    3. Conversion to a stock factory electronic breakerless system is allowed.
    4. Only stock type HEI systems allowed. MSDS box or similar is not allowed.
    5. Alternator may be used but not required.
    6. On-board computers, automated electronics, record keeping devices, or digital readouts are not allowed. A memory tach is allowed.
    7. Video recording devices allowed upon track approval.
    8. Battery may be relocated to behind driver’s seat. Battery must be in approved marine type battery box or the like (note: steel boxes approved), subject to board approval. The battery box must be secured to the car with bolts, straps or both.
    1. Stock cast iron manifolds only. Headers are not allowed.
    2. No high performance or sports car type exhaust manifolds.
    3. Modifications are not allowed. No bigger than 2″ Iron. 2″ maximum dump. Fords only will be allowed stock 2.50” exhaust dumps.
    4. Exhaust must exit beyond driver compartment. If brought through car, must be wrapped with thermal wrap and covered with minimum 20 gauge metal.
    5. Mufflers required.
    1. A scatter shield or explosion-proof bell housing is recommended.
    2. Automatic transmissions only.
    3. Transmissions must be stock OEM and in stock location with no gears removed or modified.
    4. A working torque converter is required.
    5. Transmission cooler is allowed.
    6. Locked differentials are NOT allowed. NO limited slip, posi-track, or spools. NO shimming or welding of rear gears allowed!
    7. No quick change rears.
    8. Differentials must remain completely stock and unchanged.
    1. Nerf bars may be used. Material for Nerf bars must not exceed 1 1/2″ 0.095 steel round or 1” x 2” box tubing.
    2. Nerf bars allowed between front and rear tires, in front of front tires, and behind rear tires.
    3. Nerf bars cannot exceed 3″ inches from original body lines.
    4. Ends must be rounded or rolled (no sharp edges).
    1. All suspension must stay stock.
    2. No heating, cutting, or tying down of any kind.
    3. Suspension is not to be altered in any way.
    4. No alterations to the front or rear sway bars.
    5. One shock allowed at each wheel.
    6. Shocks must be stock or stock replacement.
    7. Air assisted and spring assisted shocks not allowed.
    1. Minimum wheelbase allowed is 108″ inches.
    2. Cars must run wheelbase as specified by original manufacturer.
    1. Stock steering to chassis must be used.
    2. Camber adjustment not to exceed the manufacturer’s limit of adjustment.
    1. Stock tank or fuel cell (see safety rules on fuel cells).
    2. No electronic fuel pumps.
    3. Fuel line may go through driver’s compartment, but must be totally encased in a metal tube with no holes! Tube must extend a minimum of 1″ inch through front and rear firewall away from driver.
    1. Wheels must be maximum 7″ wide with 4″ backspace.
    2. Only steel wheels are permitted. 2 piece wheels are not allowed. Magnesium, aluminum, or slotted wheels are not allowed.
    3. Must use DOT approved passenger car tires only. No snow tires or recaps allowed.
    4. Tires not to exceed 7.5″ of tread width.
    1. Roll cages are required, must adhere to the General and Safety Rules.
